Also Touché contract for HNTM-Debbie
I will be very honest with you. During the final of Holland’s Next Topmodel, I had a hard time. And the tall man with wild hair aka Dirk Kikstra next to me did too. “It’s impossible. I can’t choose,” I whispered between the runs that the finalists were doing.
From the beginning of the series, I seriously considered that Nicky I had a good chance of winning the title, but Debbie was so beautiful during the final. She blew us away. Her skin so even and shiny, her body so beautifully toned and colored, and her posture, strong, confident, and sexy.
Debbie didn’t win, you know that. But she walked off the stage straight and proud. “This is not the end, this is the start of my new life,” says Debbie when I call her. “Three days after the final, Freek Koster (director of Touché Models) emailed me and two days later I was in his office. With my mother. We talked for three hours and polaroids were taken immediately. This is exactly what I want.”
We are a month and a half later and there she is, officially on the Touché Models website. Moreover, she has already completed her first casting for a very prestigious fashion label. “If that show goes ahead, I will walk it on December 15. I specifically rescheduled my vacation for this. The extra costs don’t bother me at all. This is my dream and I’m going for it.”
Immediately after that show, Debbie is leaving for France for a vacation with her boyfriend. He is also off for six days, so together they are driving to Southern Spain. Time for each other, a little rest, a bit of sunbathing, and then 2015 will be even more the year of Debbie than 2014 already was.
Ga ervoor, meisje.
