Morning ritual
“I don't have a fixed ritual, I often switch between different creams. The creams I like to use are Crème de la Mer or the day and night cream from Bergman Clinics. I love the shower products from Dyptique. I do wash my face every evening before going to bed with just water, so I can dive into my bed without makeup.”.
Red carpet essential
“I feel best on the red carpet when I feel confident in my dress. So to start with a stunning outfit, but always with tanned legs. So I often opt for a spray tan.”
Favorite nail polish
“I always have painted nails because it looks well-groomed and often matches my outfits. Chanel always has amazing colors. In winter, I choose dark colors like burgundy or dark gray. In summer, I like to go for a fresh color. If I have time, I love to go to my regular nail salon on van Woustraat. I know the owner well and if I'm in need, he is even so kind to come to my home for a manicure.”
Eyebrows or lashes
“Eyebrows give extra strength to your appearance. I always enhance my eyebrows a bit with an eyebrow pencil.”
Million Dollar Tip
“Enough sleep! Although I often lack that. But when I show up at work well-rested, I always feel much clearer. A few days of sun helps too, of course. When I can enjoy the sun during a short vacation, my skin radiates immensely.”
Favorite perfume
“I love all the scents from the perfume house Creed. I always buy these when traveling. In the Netherlands, they are only available at Skins in Amsterdam.”
Unexpected Beauty Tool
“The lip balm from Rosebud is always in my bag. I use it not only for lip care but also to add a bit of color to my cheeks. The small jar fits in any clutch and is multifunctional.”
