Read about Stacey, serial entrepreneur and style icon.

Favorite city?

Not very original, but it's New York. I try to be there for two months once a year. When the energy is low and the sun starts shining there, I want to go. I'm already checking Airbnb to find a nice apartment before the end of March. The nice thing about my work is that I can do it there, or rather, especially there. I can design my jewelry and come up with TV formats much easier there. When the money runs out, I come back because it is, of course, a very expensive city.

I prefer to be near Union Square because it is so central. I am really a walker, and walking helps you get to know the city.

Favorite restaurant in Amsterdam?

That is De Koevoet in the Jordaan, it looks like a Jordaan pub but it is run by Italians who serve you perfectly and offer the most delicious food. I have taken some trendy types there who looked at me at the front door as if I had gone crazy. But it is now also one of their favorites in the city center. Furthermore, I am more of a pub tiger than a restaurant animal. I really love good food, but when it's gone, I want to leave. Then I need to do something.

And which pubs do you go to?

I have a few that I go to, perhaps a bit too often. At De Wester and café De Koe, they have seen me grow up. You might also see me standing by a pool table. A bit of pool, darts, that kind of thing. You might not expect it, but I am quite a games person. By the way, I drink beer. Music girl, huh, in the music business, beer is drunk and I like it too. It's cheap fun, so with Stacey.

And how do you make sure you don't get a beer belly?

Living on the fourth floor and having no elevator is my version of the gym. And when the weather is nice and it's not too windy, I go table tennis on public tables. There is a site, this is really amazing. www.pingpongmap.net and it shows every place in the world where there are public table tennis tables. Recently, I was in Berlin with my boyfriend (you really trip over the table tennis tables there, unbelievable), we took our paddles out of the bag and off we went to play. Egypt is also very good table tennis-wise.

Which bar has given you the worst hangover ever?

That must have been a very large bar without a roof. During Queen's Day, Gay Pride, and New Year's Eve, I go wild and am not approachable for the days after. Did you know that during the last Gay Pride, I dressed up as a little boy and no one recognized me? That is mainly thanks to the talent of Bart Brom, the best makeup artist in the Netherlands.

Where is it good for shopping?

I shouldn't go to PS Atelier at Oude Spiegelstraat 10 in Amsterdam too often because that wouldn't be good. They have such beautiful pieces there. Furthermore, I save the shoes from United Nude because I love high heels and these are also really comfortable to wear. I am also very proud of my mother who owns cdexpress.com. She has the largest music database in the world with over five million titles. So if you're looking for a unique CD, the chances are highest that you'll find it with her.

And on my own site www.staceyssilver.nl it's good shopping, you can order something from anywhere in the world and I will send it to you. Wherever you are.

Another unexpected tip?

I love music and enjoy watching bands. I do that, for example, at Pakhuis Wilhelmina on Veemkade. Once a month they have hard rock karaoke there. A band is formed from band members of Kane, Van Dik Hout, De Dijk, and anyone else who can and wants to, there is a list of songs and anyone who wants can choose a song and experience what it's like to sing with a real band. Sometimes people are a bit shy, but once a tone-deaf sheep crosses the dam, the roof comes off there.
