Fashion week, recordings, launches and her new home. All that in a packed week of Carolien. She really doesn't sit still, you know. She takes you along.

No nail has been hammered into the wall yet, but I have already shopped for my dinnerware. I was so cheerful about this colorful set from Mateus! The entire collection is available in different colors, so perfect for mixing and matching. We chose sand and gray tones combined with ocean and purple as the base. I can't wait to set the table in the new house!

My latest fashion acquisition this week is this watch from Skagen. The rose face combined with the light gray strap matches perfectly with all my summer outfits.

Yesterday, the launch of the new jewelry brand Luz took place. The items are cheerful, fashionable, and can be combined in many ways. My favorite is the heart bracelet. A nice bonus: the jewelry is very affordable.

Last week, Amsterdam was in an uproar thanks to Fashion Week. Unfortunately, I had to film all weekend, which meant I could only attend a few shows. Luckily, one of them was the show of Ready to Fish by Ilja, one of my favorite Dutch designers. Dressed in a dress from the A/W Ready to Fish collection (read: the sparrows were falling from the roof, so my winter outfit was not entirely safe... But hey, ‘Fashion above Function’ is my motto) I enjoyed the beautiful new summer items in denim blue and light purple. Something to be envious of.

This weekend, the first recordings took place for the new series ‘De Zwarte Tulp’. My character is a bit vulgar, but has a heart in the right place. It's wonderful to wear all those outfits.
