2. One of my favorite lunch spots in Amsterdam is Brasserie van Dam. When I once ordered my special combo (Spelt bread with filet americain and egg truffle salad), they looked at me strangely at first, but now it’s almost on the menu! An absolute recommendation.

3. I was a bit afraid that we could permanently store the summer dresses in the closet, but it seems like summer is sticking around for a bit longer: thank God. Last week I was able to test my new Uggs for a few days and they felt like slippers again. That’s the only plus side to the winter weather: a new winter wardrobe and wearing Uggs for a reason.

4. On Monday I moved half of my walk-in (and that’s quite a lot, read: back pain the next day…) to Hotel Room Mate Aitana for a Beau Monde photoshoot about my wardrobe. Stylist Danielle had shopped some beautiful items to complement it and this was the result: a packed closet to die for…

5. This week was all about photoshoots. For Bastiaan van Schaik, we shot an amazing fashion series in my new, still in ruins house. The crumbling walls and open ceilings looked beautiful on camera, but I hope to soon show photos of a smooth plastered wall and ceilings with built-in spots…
