LUIE MOOIE ZONDAG
Okay today is not such a nice day but you probably enjoy a lazy Sunday just like I do. Or not, and do you have grand plans to end the weekend in a delightful way. Well, lazy Sunday or not, it’s always nice to look good, and we’ll help you get started. Because with a box of 4 Ombres eyeshadow from CHANEL and the makeup tips from their makeup artist Judith Neyens, you’ll look your best tonight. Even on the couch.
Preparation
Make sure to clean your face completely. Even if you were only a little made up today, everything has to come off. The best result is achieved on clean skin. Prepare your skin with Hydra Beauty Nutrition and then choose a foundation that matches your skin tone. Judith chose Vitalumière n°30 Beige for me. For a mattifying effect, apply powder afterwards. The Poudre Universelle Compacte n°20 clair is stunning and has a covering but not too powdery effect.
Eyebrows
For a beautifully done eye, the eyebrows are very important. They give the right shape to your face. First, brush them nicely. Then, with eyebrow powder, Le Sourcil from CHANEL, enhance the eyebrows a bit more so that the shape stands out more. For an intense effect, wet your brush a little and sketch small hairs on your eyebrow. To finish, brush them through once more so that all the hairs are in place.
THE EAU NATUREL EYE
For a beautifully made-up eye, but not too overwhelming, choose the palette Les 4 Ombres Tissé Mademoiselle 2014. These are four natural colors that you can mix beautifully together, allowing you to create a natural glow 2.0.
1. Start with the lightest color and apply it all over the eyelid.
2. With the darkest color, draw a line close to the lash line, like a kind of eyeliner. You can do this by gently pressing the brush against the eye, and not sweeping.
3. With the second darkest color, create a light shadow in your crease. This makes your eye appear a bit larger.
4. Then take the second lightest color and blend blend everything together in the middle of the eyelid. This creates a beautiful whole. You blend the transition from one color to the other with a brush.
5. To finish the eyeshadow, you can use the second darkest color to enhance the corner of the eye. This slightly extends the eyeliner and keeps it very natural.
Mascara
The golden tip is to curl your lashes before applying mascara. Really, believe me, you’ll see the difference immediately. It creates instant volume in the lashes. You do this at the base of your lash line with small movements. This way, you don’t damage the lashes and achieve a natural curl instead of a crimp. Then apply Le Volume mascara from CHANEL to the lashes at the base and lightly to the tips. This gives a natural effect to both the top and bottom.
Blush and lip
The finishing touch is not unimportant. Since you’re going for a natural look, a cream blush has been chosen, which keeps your look fresh. Apply some Blush Crème de CHANEL 62 Intonation to the apples of your cheeks with your ring finger. This way, you never apply too much and can blend it beautifully. With a darker color from Les Beiges, you can shape the face a bit more. To carry the natural effect through to the last detail, Judith chose a nude-like lip color: Rouge Coco n° 48 Sentiment. She applied it with her fingers, so it remains very natural.
So, you are now either the queen of the sofa, or making a great impression at the Sunday evening dinner. Enjoy!
