I can spend hours scouring the internet for recipes. I print them out, they go into a book, and I test them in my own kitchen. There are still a lot waiting for me, because the web is flooded with fun (healthy) food blogs. For example, thanks to Sarah Britton from My New Roots, I know that you can also make nut milk very well yourself. It also saves you a lot of money, because a carton in the store is really expensive and you can only use it for a few days. And Daisy, from ilovehealth, has taught me to make an incredibly delicious tuna burger. And let me not forget Culy where I often find delicious vegetarian (I hardly eat meat) recipes. I'll give you a few of my favorite food blogs. Just a few, otherwise it's too much to mention and of course I have to keep some kitchen skills for myself to impress, right?.
Let's start with our own Rens Kroes. She just released the cookbook
Rens Kroes
Powerfood and it's full of easy and healthy recipes. On her site, you'll also find plenty of delicious things. The fresh cucumber soup for example. It's delicious for this weather and can be on the table in no time. My New Roots.
Sarah Britton, I mentioned her earlier. Her site is full of the most beautiful food photos (and they are really hard to make, you know. Tasty photos of food). She cooks super healthy, a lot of raw, and preferably everything from her own garden.
Yellow Lemon Tree.
Maura from
yellowlemontreeblog is really one of my favorites. She writes incredibly well, with each recipe you get a story, it all looks equally delicious and easy to make. I can easily spend an hour on this site and get very hungry. Chicks love food.
The chicks Elise and Nina from
chickslovefood post new recipes daily. Super healthy, but also good chocolate cakes and brownies, and there's often a glass of wine being drunk. The section 5 or less I find so nice. With less than five ingredients, you have a delicious meal on the table. Ideal for after work when you don't want to cook extensively and need some inspiration. They also give you nice restaurant tips. Last but not least.
Jamie Oliver
. God, do you have a moment? Can I have a man like that? I love Jamie. Now I have to admit that if a man can cook well (really well, you know), I’m pretty quickly sold. And then he also has a bit of a lisp. Sigh. Sorry. Jamie Oliver. I can spend hours scouring the internet for recipes. I print them out, they go into a book, and I test them in my own kitchen. There are still a lot waiting for me...
