Coffee, art and office
The advantage of an online platform is that you no longer necessarily have to work at a fixed place and time. Although now every employer has roughly switched to flexible working and of course I love being found at the new, way too cool HQ of Amayzine, a coffee date elsewhere is also quite nice. Good for inspiration and good for yourself because this way you won't end up dozing off behind your desk. There are so many cool coffee spots to find in the Netherlands. I'll list five of them. Five where you drink the absolute best coffee and mint tea, where the coolest and newest art hangs on the wall, and where you can, of course, also do a bit of work.
Buutvrij is located in a very convenient spot in Tilburg. It sits between the station and the city among those beautiful Herenpandjes. You understand, it can't be anything but nice inside as well. It has a vintage school look, with those retro school chairs and brick walls. When the sun shines, you can sit outside. Provided the sun doesn't blind your screen. Outside, you're a bit closer together, so for work that requires concentration, you should look for a spot inside.
At Coffee Concepts you'll find three concepts under one roof. On the ground floor, there's a marketing and communication agency, but above that, you can enjoy a coffee. Grandmother's interior 2.0 because everything is particularly light and fresh. Of course, with the necessary rugs on the table and the necessary art on the wall. The WiFi is good and the tables are a bit more spaced out which is nice.
For the working person in The Hague, Lola’s Bikes and Coffee is a nice spot to join in. Come on your bike, because at the back of the store, as the name suggests, there's a bike repair shop. You can immediately have your bike fixed if something is broken. Above that, you'll find the most inspiring books, which you can also buy, and nice lounge sofas or good chairs to sit on.
Actually, this is a place to eat very deliciously and healthily, because there are very tasty salads and healthy snacks on the menu. However, if you're a lingerer, you can also easily open your laptop and do a bit of work here. WiFi is good, the location is inspiring and there's enough space.
At Vinnies is designed for you to really feel at home. They do this in the interior, and with the interior. Because what you sit on, you can also buy and take home. The food and coffee are delicious. Simple, pure, and healthy. Almost everything is organic. On the wall hang changing collections from emerging designers or photographers from the area. Reason enough to come back often. The advantage is the opening hours, because early birds can already come for breakfast and a free table with WiFi at half past seven.
