The most beautiful magazine in the Netherlands was definitely La Vie en Rose. And the fact that I was able to work there is still a cherished memory. I worked with an exceptional team that somehow always remains bonded. Editor-in-chief Harriet Calo now has a blog (isntitdivine.com) and the nicest Instagram account that I know. Agnès Michot later became my boss at Marie Claire and is still there. Intern Josselin is now one of our editors (and the one who creates the beautiful illustrations on our site). Art director Daphne just completed a fantastic restyling at Marie Claire but is also passionate about interior design. I have so much respect for her because Daphne can really do everything I can't. From baking amazing cakes to decorating houses and now she has launched a Dutch label; Livin’ in a box. This consists of colorful cushion covers that feature unique graphic patterns that combine beautifully with each other. The three-dimensional graphic shapes constantly transform into a new pattern. The fabric is printed with a wax block print, an authentic and manual printing technique. The cushions are true ‘limited editions’.
