GET RID OF YOUR HANGOVER IN 7 STEPS

Get-rid-of-your-hangover-in-7-steps

Last night was probably way too much fun and you didn't say no to that fourth, what am I saying, seventh glass of champagne. You were absolutely right. The only downside is that you probably can't open your eyes today and it feels like a bus has run over you. So here are the tips to at least get you a bit back on your feet today. Or for tomorrow morning, if you still see some traces of the weekend. With these tips, you won't be suffering at least.

1. Spetter het

Fairly cliché, but to wash away the evidence of the weekend, you just need to splash cold water on your face. Preferably combined with a good cleanser, with which you also immediately rinse away the makeup residues down the drain. This way, your blood circulation gets back to work, your pores can breathe again, and your face gets its glow back. So that's the basics.

2. One extra glass, please

It is said that champagne is the best remedy for a hangover. It tightens the skin again, so no more tiredness. However, the best thing is really to drink a few big glasses of water. Alcohol actually pulls all the moisture out of your face, instead of putting it in. Water brings back a fresh color and the skin can breathe again. Besides, you will probably feel a lot better when you get up in the morning. So start with that now.

3. CC crème

Water and cleansing provide long-term solutions, but to cover up the tiredness, choosing a CC cream is not a bad idea. It nourishes the skin and balances the color.

4. Aspirin

An aspirin is probably already on the menu for tomorrow morning. Wise, because it is also good for the skin. It has properties that can reduce redness and a puffy face.

5. A blush

A bit of pink on the cheeks instantly brings your face to life. You look a lot healthier and more awake right away. It can also go on the lips, because with a lipstick you complete the look immediately.

6. Open your eyes

Droopy eyes are too bad. Just massage them with your fingers to wake everything up again or place a slice of cucumber on your eyes. Puffy eyes are the first thing someone looks at. A concealer is therefore your best friend. Mascara also works very well. Two layers and it immediately opens the eyes. Choose intense black, then the white in your eyes looks even whiter and radiates health. If you add an extra layer, the redness in your eyes will also be less noticeable. Do not apply mascara to the bottom of your lashes. That can create shadows that accentuate dark circles under your eyes. You don't want that. Also avoid eyeshadow, as that can make it all heavier again. Just keep it fresh with a concealer and mascara, then you're good.

7. Don't forget your hair

You probably don't have much time to wash your hair, so use dry shampoo. It gives you volume and smells fresher again. Then just smooth it with the Mason Pearson brush, as that brings back the shine and liveliness. If it's really a serious hangover, it's best to wear your hair up. It looks fresh and if you wear it tightly back, it also gives a natural face-lift. A beachy look is out of the question today.
