GIVENCHY HAIR
Hairstylist Rachel Geerman has just returned from Milan and Paris where she styled the hair for the major shows such as Viktor&Rolf, Gucci, Valentino, and Pucci. Now that she has recovered a bit from the hustle and bustle, Rachel teaches us how to create that catwalk look ourselves. For our stunning social media strategist Issey-June, she chose the Givenchy look because if anyone has the perfect hair for it…
- Rachel really applies a lot of mousse to the top of the hair and starts to ‘blow-dry’ it. Then she sprays quite a bit of sea salt spray into Issey's hair. Also on the top, and that gets ‘blow-dried’ as well. Make sure you have long hair, extremely long. If you don’t have that, then you can attach long hairpieces.
- A middle parting is created. This doesn’t have to be extremely neat; even at the shows, the natural line is followed.
- Make two tight braids, ensuring that all strands are evenly distributed and well brushed through.
- Tie both braids into a knot and secure the knot to your head with rough hairpins. A spritz of hairspray over it and you’re done.
