TIGHT IN H&M
With the New York marathon on the horizon, this press presentation came in very handy. And while my wardrobe certainly already consists of sportswear for 25%. And I don't just have one pair of running shoes, but many more. A different color for different outfits. Somehow it feels much better in the latest Nike tights or a fluorescent sports bra from H&M. Am I exaggerating? Maybe a little. I just like to look good during my workout you never know who you might run into, right?
May-Britt and I got to check out the new sports collection from H&M this morning. For yoga and for running. Our hearts immediately jumped upon entering, because we were greeted with a ginger-celery-apple juice, a healthy snack, and we saw racks full of colorful sportswear in the finest colors and wonderfully soft yoga clothing. We actually wanted to get started right away. Just a quick run in brand new sportswear or do a sun salutation in a light gray legging with a sewn-on sock. Very handy.
May-Britt chatted with Laura Muscas, who does PR for H&M, and here and there some raw chocolate balls and gluten-free cupcakes passed by, and I sniffed around the collection and spotted some young bloggers and that lovely Francien from girlslove2run.nl. She was standing there with my favorite pants in her hands. Of course.
The Go Gold limited edition is designed together with the Swedish Olympic team (because H&M is of course Swedish) and they will also wear these looks during the games. Each item is functional and feels good, but you can also easily walk around in them for a few hours after exercising (just use a deodorant), because it’s all very stylish. For example, the black and white scuba sweater (you know, diver suit fabric), a short and sexy model. I would wear it casually. I already have some really cool Nike pants in my closet for my running training, but I believe there’s still one more coming. I saw a bright yellow legging with blue stripes and was sold. The collection will be in stores from January 17. I’m going to set my alarm!
