After the fabric fair in Munich and the leather fair in Paris, Karlijn Boersma had time to pose for our Look of the Day. Karlijn is the founder and designer of the Amsterdam label FoA, First of August. She attended the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and also studied Cultural Sociology, viewing her label, and clothing in general, as the sum of someone's identity and creativity. On this beautiful Monday, Karlijn is wearing a dark blue oversized winter coat with a white turtleneck underneath on a Merino woolen pants (all from her own label) and styles it off with a practical and stylish black leather bag that is also from FoA.
