I really love the way classic MaxMara combines its core values with current trends. This spring, the collection bursts out of the store. You see that lovely 2014 version of the polka dot dress (where the dots are quite far apart, very nice and a bit different again) and their colour blocking with orange and pink is amazing. For the premiere of The Other Woman, I rummaged through their racks and put together this lovely ensemble. The somewhat stiff, wide falling skirt with a pleat in the middle gives me an Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy feeling. The top, also from MaxMara, is very subtly transparent. I like to wear a bra underneath that stands out a bit and chose my leopard version from the Italian Intimissimi (really a recommendation for affordable and nice lingerie). The coat, the coat, the COAT. How beautiful it is. Made of that so characteristic sheared wool of the very best quality in a striking pink. In love. The belt with subtle golden piping completes the look. And of course my CHANEL pumps (fit like a glove), CHANEL cuff, and Dior clutch. The earring is from Isabel Marant. I lost the second one. It works out well for me that an earring now the rigueur is.
