Your bag, how did it come to you?

I first saw him in an amazing production in Elle, then he kept haunting my mind and I thought we had to meet in Paris at the store of Jerome Dreyfuss (husband of Isabel Marant) on Rue Jacob. That’s where I really fell in love, and after two days of dancing around it, I took him home.

What is so special about it?

I love the material. Jerome Dreyfuss uses amazing leather and the size is perfect for me.

Where has the bag been?

This bag has been everywhere, from LA to Formentera. I always take it with me when I travel. It has also experienced countless press moments, openings, fashion weeks, and other work-related events. But especially many lovely evenings in restaurants with friends.

It is said that the contents of your bag (neat or messy) say something about how you are doing in life at that moment.

I do stuff a lot into this small unit; iPhone, sunscreen, wallet, preferably also my planner (Traveler’s Notebook), mini toiletry bag with lip balm, mascara, hand cream, and antibacterial spray. There’s also often a small toy car from Loui and some body lotion from Naïf.

Is this bag cherished and pampered and neatly stored in a dust bag or do you just toss it in a corner somewhere?

I’m not super careful with this bag, also because I believe a bag should live. However, it does have a spot in the kitchen which results in Loui regularly taking it for a spin.

Do you prefer classic or more trendy?

Classic, a simple look with a beautiful bag elevates the whole to another level.

And which bag is on your wishlist?

Brown Mulberry Bayswater, love it.
