Meet Esther Weijkamp, Digital Manager at Spice PR. She comes from Brabant, but has been in love with Amsterdam for five years. You could definitely call her a bag freak. She has dozens, but never enough. Let's take a look at one of her favorites.

How many bags do you have?

Way too many and always too few! I think I have about 40 bags, of which I only use two or three often. This one from Rabeanco is currently my favorite: the soft leather, the color, and of course enough space for my laptop & co.

How did you get this beauty?

Received from my boyfriend! Luckily, he understands exactly what women want, which makes him the ideal man.

What does a bag do for a woman?

For me, a bag is indispensable anyway, because I always take (too) many things with me. During the day more than in the evening when I go out, but even then I always have an issue with where to put everything. A nice clutch completes my evening, but with a bag like this I can go straight to a bar after work: also not unimportant!

What about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?

Chaotic. I can't help it, but I just can't manage to keep everything neatly in its place. As long as my things don't break, it's fine by me!

What do you always carry in your bag?

Keys, phone (in a case, because that breaks quickly), wallet, and lip balm. Those are the essentials. The ‘expansion pack’ includes magazines, notebooks, hairpins, sunscreen, sunglasses and glasses, mobile phone charger, jewelry, and laptop. And little bits and pieces, a lot of little bits and pieces.

Do you prefer trendy or classic? And does a bag also need to be practical?

I mainly love beautiful leather. And yes, I am also sensitive to trends, but I notice that I often reach for timeless bags for everyday use. All bags with fringes, glitter, stones, and sequins are for a festival or party.
