When you walk into the RTL Netherlands office building, there's a good chance you'll encounter the charming figure of Marina van der Klift. She sits there three days a week at the reception. Her hair down to her hips, eyelashes to the ceiling, and the most beautiful smile you can imagine. To complete the perfect picture, this lovely CHANEL bag is always on display next to her on the counter.

I got this three years ago from my mother. A very simple bag from Zara, but it gets prettier every year.

I would honestly tell you, I've had a bit of luck. My sister really loves shopping and has a closet full of the most beautiful designer bags and clothes. Seriously, she has the Chanel Boybag in every color you can think of. Orange, blue, pink, you name it. Every now and then she gives me a bag that she has only worn for one evening.

Wow, what a lovely sister. She must have a really good job then?

She has a very rich husband.

So probably also a walk-in closet that you can only dream of?

Winonah de Jong's closet is really nothing compared to it. So incredibly many clothes, bags, and shoes, you have never seen anything like it. It's so much that I receive items every month (she lives in Berlin). I then look at what I like and the rest I put in my Vintage Sale that I started in January. Every two weeks, women from the neighborhood or mothers from school come to shop with me. The most beautiful Chanel bags go for half the price. And yes, sometimes the Boybag is among them.

You must get very greedy with all those items you receive?

It's just so much, at some point enough is enough. At Easter, I wore a wonderful Victoria Beckham dress, but I prefer to just wear jeans and a simple top.

Back to the bags. How many do you have?

Phew, do you have a moment? There are really ridiculously many. I must say that I have only worn this Chanel bag in the past year. It's such a nice bag. You can wear it with Zara jeans and an H&M T-shirt, with good shoes and a bag, you're ready in no time and can go anywhere.

Are you careful with it or do you throw it in a corner when you get home?

No, I neatly place my bag on the table when I get home. By the way, in the hockey canteen, it just goes on the floor. Everyone finds that terrible, but I couldn't care less. At home, most bags are in a dust bag in the closet.

What do you always have with you?

Lip gloss, perfume, phone, money, charger, gum. If you pack and measure well, quite a lot can fit in this Chanel bag.

And who will inherit this collection?

Well, my daughter now has a very nice pink Gucci bag, so she's already set. For now, I'm just keeping it for myself.
