Since most models are scouted at 13, have their first real job around 15, and then celebrate their heyday until their 22nd birthday, the combination of school and work is a difficult but necessary evil. While they are building and mapping out their careers, the teachers also want attention; such a diploma doesn’t come for free. The result: backstage at the shows, you trip over models doing homework. While the best makeup artists, hairstylists, and designers are picking at them, they are struggling with the Pythagorean theorem and Sin Cos Tan (remember that).
