Meet Daisy Homoet-Mijnals, PR manager of Corendon. You know, that site where you can daydream about incredibly nice vacation destinations. She has only recently been carrying a Tiny PS11 Proenza Shoulder with her. How did she get it?

How many bags do you have?

‘I have four really beautiful designer bags. They are not neatly stored in the closet, you know. Everywhere and nowhere around the house.’

How did you get this beauty?

‘Received it last month from my husband for my 29st birthday. He let me choose a bag. Except for Chanel, that was too far. I chose the tiny PS11 from Proenza Schouler. Real connoisseurs know that this is a very beautiful bag.’

Yes, this is definitely a nice one. You are very careful with it, right?

‘Phew, I don’t treat it like a child, a bag should live, I think. By the way, I don’t put it on the ground. That I do avoid. When I come home, I hang it in my bedroom on a knob on the wall.‘

What do you always have with you?

‘The nice thing about a small bag is that not much fits in it, so you carry a lot less junk. I usually have my laptop in a sleeve loose in my hand. I always carry two phones (for work and private), chewing gum, hairpins, keys, and my perfume Mademoiselle by Chanel. I absolutely cannot live without that scent.’

Do you notice that more doors are opened with a nice bag?

‘I have never noticed anything like that and I am not at all concerned with it. It’s more a nice feeling for myself to walk around with a beautiful bag. It immediately completes my outfit. Of course, you sometimes see people peeking, and I only find that fun.’

And is there someone already eyeing to borrow or inherit this gem later?

‘I don’t have children yet, but if I have a daughter, she will of course get them. Otherwise, my best friend. She went completely crazy when she heard that I had received this.’

You haven’t had this PS11 for long, but there’s probably already a new one on your wishlist?

‘Yes, I think the boybag from Chanel. That’s going to be quite a battle with my husband.’
