Last week was a whirlwind. Here is the report.
1. New Arrivals have arrived: airy tops, cotton dresses, and silk summer pants with exotic prints. That means organizing webshop photoshoots and encouraging Peter and the interns to get everything online as quickly as possible. I myself am diving into the window display of our offline store. Endless rearranging and styling until I am satisfied, wonderful.
2. At the end of the day, I eat with the female colleague entrepreneurs from the street at Mangiare on van Oldenbarneveltstraat. Nice place, great food.
3 + 4. On Friday, the sun is shining brightly and I am invited by Amsterdam Fashion Week to palace het Loo in Apeldoorn. Truly an enchanting setting for a lecture on craftsmanship and design by, among others, colleague Jan Taminiau.
5. I was born in Apeldoorn and my grandmother lives in a nursing home there. Now that I am so close by, I naturally visit her. From her, I inherited the love for the fashion profession. She once started as a model and seamstress at home. With my sunglasses on, she immediately slips back into the role of mannequin ❤️❤️❤️
6. The exhibition about Grace Kelly at Palace het Loo is also worth a visit! What a style icon…
Visits are possible until the end of October.
