PROJECT PEEKABOO

Just like the Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik, the Fendi bag became world famous because of Carrie Bradshaw. “I’m homeless! I’ll be a bag lady! A Fendi bag lady, but a bag lady!” The Peekaboo is, besides the Baguette, a have-to-have with a capital H. And Fendi thought of something fun because they’re opening a new boutique on Bond Street in London.

Gwyneth, Cara, Jerry, and Adèle

Sylvia Fendi asked ten British icons to design their own Peekaboos. The bag (has been named after the children’s game because the inside always looks differently from the outside) got ten different versions, which are all incredibly great, funny, and stylish.

You a bag, they some money

The bags are for sale. That’s good news. You can bid online on www.fendi.com. The proceeds go to Kids Company. Why? Because for most children, their mother’s bags are things that hold all kinds of great things. Candy, bandaids, mobile phones on which to play games. But there are also children that are traumatised or live in despair. This money goes to them.

In love with Adèle

I’m in love with Adèle’s bag. Even though Gwyneth’s is also pretty. Or I might go for Georgia May Jagger’s? You know what’s the best part? If you bid you feel as though the bag already belongs to you, and Gwyneth, Jerry, and Georgia May are only a handshake away.
