FATHERLY LOVE

Where here in the Netherlands the average aspiring singer with ambitions was terrified of types like Jerney Kaagman, Eric van Tijn, and later Gordon and Patricia Paay, they were in England trembling at the knees for Simon Cowell. The music producer slash professional jury member left no moment unused to throw vile comments at the participant during an audition, which of course were immortalized in a multitude of lists and other overviews of his bitchy comments. But the Great Dangerous Mean Cowell is no more. Instead of deadly looks and comments, it is now only expressions of love and weak emotional babble that he pours into the world, because ladies and gentlemen, Simon has become a father. The mother of the child was still married to another man at the beginning of the relationship with Simon, but oh well, who pays attention to that. Especially when you consider that he has now turned into a week animal that only knows how to post jabadabadoeda messages on his Twitter account and overwhelms the whole world with his fatherhood. It is a bit of a thing nowadays, men becoming fathers and acting as if they are the first man on earth who has ever become a father. Truly, everyone must know, hear, and see, his child is the best/cutest/loveliest whatever. The strange thing is that when a man openly shows his love for his child, women's hearts melt immediately. There is little sexier than a sensitive man, a man with love for his child. While when a woman expresses herself so hysterically, people are more inclined to find it a bit sad and exaggerated.
