MET VALENTINO

At the previous show, ‘our’ girl with the pearl by Johannes Vermeer was the inspiration for Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli from Valentino, this year Pasolini's film version of Medea hung on their mood board. We see ultra-short dresses and skirts, covered with ankle-length capes adorned with embroidery. The innocence from the previous collection has become a lot more mysterious. Even flat sandals were adorned with scarabs. Bold, colorful, and always feminine.
