What was cool

AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK

Amsterdam FashionWeek is over and it was a grand spectacle. Among others, Claes Iversen, Spijkers en Spijkers, Ilja Visser, Esther Louise Dorhout Mees, and Tony Cohen showcased their latest collections. There was an enormous diversity and the clothing was breathtakingly beautiful. Here is a brief summary of a number of shows that stood out to us during FashionWeek.

Claes showcased his very first ready-to-wear collection during this FashionWeek. The soft tones he used gave a classic impression. Claes also wanted to try to stay as simple as possible. There were many loose-fitting garments on display, but also a number of well-tailored dresses that flared out as they approached the ground. Especially powder tones, black, and emerald green designs were featured in the show. The most beautiful fabrics were used and each model wore a nice pair of sandals.

The show by Dorhout Mees was, in one word, amazing. Throughout the entire show, you had a magical and enchanting feeling. The heavenly colors that were used were stunning. Especially light blue, soft pink, and white were visible in the collection. The clear contours were also breathtaking.

At Ready to Fish, neutral tones were mainly visible in the collection. These neutral tones were combined with summery colors such as sky blue, orange, lavender, and bright green. As usual, there were also many prints on display. This time, the prints in the collection were inspired by kinetic art.

The two sisters had another beautiful show with great clothing. Especially tailored but also a number of loose dresses were on display. Eye-catching and cool prints came by one after another. The colors yellow, red, and blue were combined with each other and formed a perfect whole together.

Tony Cohen showcased a women's and men's collection during this Fashion Week. The show was opened by the stunning Kim Feenstra. For the women, long and wide skirts and trousers were visible. The shades of white, black, and dark blue played a significant role. The men mainly wore shorts combined with blazers. Leather shirts and trousers were also prominently featured. At the end, Tony Cohen closed the show together with his son.
