As a beauty editor, I have styled photos of perfumes quite often. Besides Chanel, there was of course another perfume that always secured a front-row spot in those photos. J’adore by Dior. A classic.

The road to the top

I may call it a classic, but the scent has actually only existed since 1999. In my opinion, it quickly found its way to success. The bottle is of course very beautiful, as with such a golden neck and a gold-colored eau de toilette inside, it immediately radiates luxury. For a long time, I thought the scent was only meant for the old ladies of the world, but since I managed to get it myself, I have changed my mind. It is a warm scent of roses and jasmine that is actually very sensual. Not at all old-lady-like. Phew.
