Today, macarons are on the menu. It's Paris Fashion Week. Of course that includes insanely beautiful shows, inspiring street style and lots of great addresses, there is After all, there is always a reason to go to Paris but coming back without macarons is a no-go. Look, there are also plenty of addresses here in the Netherlands to get your hands on the round, airy biscuits in sweet colours, but the only real address is, of course, La Duree. You are welcomed with French charm, which is quite special because not every French person is cordial, given a beautiful platter in front of you, which is worth looking at alone, and then extremely patiently feast on a macaron. They are quite expensive, so enjoying them is important. Anyway, my mouth is watering and I have yet to eat breakfast. Luckily, my nicest colleagues are going to Paris this weekend.
