THIS SAYS YOUR NAIL POLISH ABOUT YOU

My workday starts with a meeting with the editors and a fresh nail polish. This is because I never give myself the time to let my nails dry properly, so they are always due for a refresh the next day, but I also like to choose a color that matches my outfit, the agenda for that day, and, apparently, also my mood. The color of your nails says everything about who you are and how you feel at that moment. At least, that is the vision of Gary Halford, manicurist from Paintbox.com.

Handy to know what you radiate. With these points, you can strategically use your nail polish to achieve what you have in mind for that day.

1. Black nail polish is creative

Black polish is chic (apply it well, otherwise it quickly looks dirty) and shows that you are creative. Admit it, you won't see a lawyer or an accountant with black polish that quickly. A photographer or singer-songwriter even more so. My choice: Nails Inc. Black Taxi

2. Neon is energetic

Be warned, this polish will immediately stand out to everyone. Make sure it is applied neatly and that it fits the situation. You may be incredibly energetic and fruity, but during a serious board meeting, I would switch it for something more neutral. On a beach or festival day, you are totally my girl with this polish.
My choice: Floss Gloss-Con Limon.

3. Pastel is relaxing

You can never go wrong with a nice pastel. You never stand out negatively and show that you are very balanced and fit in many different places. My choice: Essie-Romper Room

4. Orange is impulsive

Wearing orange shows your zest for life. And a warm beating heart for our national team, of course. So on Sunday, everyone with orange nails on the couch or in the pub.
My choice: OPI-Havana or Dior-Mystic Magnetics

5. Wine red is sexy

A mature color, wine red. Shows that you have been around the block and have a strong personality. A mature color that I would only recommend from 25+. Especially on brunettes, it is a beautiful color.
My choice: CHANEL- le Vernis Vamp

6. White is youthful

White is clean, fresh, and tidy. A perfect color if you want to make a good impression at work. It shows that you are uncomplicated and tidy. Reliable even. Let white work for you.
My choice: CHANEL- le vernis Eastern Light

7. Red is angry

Or at least passionate, complex, and a bit moody. Red is beautiful, but it does say something about you. That you are not to be trifled with. Good for a spicy meeting.
My choice: MAC Maleficant Nocturnelle Nail Lacquer.
