For a moment it seemed that the round toe was going to completely win over the pointed toe, but nothing could be further from the truth; the pointed toe is back and it’s here to stay. For the next issue of our magazine, I interviewed the woman who buys the shoes for Bijenkorf, Katrien Wever, and she said it too, “it’s going to be a very pointed season.” And I’m happy about that because a pointed toe is oh so sexy. Preferably with a nice toe décolleté (yes, that’s what it’s called) and a sky-high heel. Straight ahead, nothing more to change.
