leg warmer meets sock

There are those trends that you see and you know, I have to have this, I want this, I will have this. My most recent case was seeing the leg warmers during the spring/summer 2014 show of Prada. Such a piece of hosiery that gives every outfit a current lift. A fashion week later, they were in the store so when I had an hour to spare in New York, I seized my chance. At least, I thought I did. They ‘cost’ over 300 dollars and I thought that was a bit too much for a seasonal gimmick. Now I'm considering buying football socks and hemming them. Or maybe I'll go for the real thing after all. I like it anyway.
