THEY CAN KNOW

During a large Boulevard brainstorming session with all lifestyle experts, I couldn't help but ask my dear colleagues Fiona Hering, Maik de Boer, and Anouk Smulders what they are tingling with excitement about this summer. Because they know what they're talking about, after all. Of course, I will also share my enormous wishlist.

Fiona

I must have the nano heel with fluor accents by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent. Not everyone understands this trend, but I actually find that quite nice.

Something else are those shoes that remind me a lot of the water shoes from back in the day. Absolutely amazing.

Lurex socks are affordable and make everything more fun. Buy them in a bold color, throw on some pumps, and you're good to go.

Maik

A nice blazer that you wear during a lunch on the beach. Anything to avoid sitting at the table with a bare upper body, people!

For a woman, I advise investing in a beautiful scarf. Tie it around your head on a bad hair day, knot it around your hips when you're ordering a drink at the bar on the beach, and drape it over your shoulders during a chilly summer evening.

Anouk

I'm already dreaming of those orange slip-ons with print. I can totally picture how great they will look with a tanned foot in them.

The floral dress by Jan Taminiau with a bow as a belt is also an absolute must-buy.

I was already in love with the leg warmers from Prada at the show. They complete every look perfectly. They are really not cheap (330 euros), but you make a statement with them.

The fishnet shirt and the matching wrap bra from Gucci also make me drool a little. So sexy. I'm going to buy that, I can feel it in my bones. Immediately a perfect motivation to do a round of abdominal exercises every morning. And in the afternoon and evening too.
