nyfw streetstyle inspiration

When an event is approaching that requires extra attention to clothing, I often find my solace in endlessly scrolling through streetstyle blogs. And now with NYFW, LFW and PFW on the horizon, a lot of inspiration is needed, you get it, I get it. Therefore, on this dreary Sunday, a look into my inspiration folder.

I usually can't pull it off, but I really like that super nonchalant oh-I-just-threw-something-on look. Fresh fluttery dress, mismatched shirt, I'm all for it.

This is more my style alone. A bit more polished, with a big necklace and focus on the legs. I would love to copy this look one-on-one and put it in my suitcase.

Baggy on baggy, a kind of violation of one of the fundamentals of clothing rules and yet it works. I've tried this myself but I'm convinced it only works if you're really skinny and with my Dutch hips, baggy on baggy is just not a good idea. But still, love this look.

Oooh I wish I could have this and/or dare to wear it. Love the skirt, and that top, and of course those silver Alexander Wang shoes.

Yep, this also goes straight into the suitcase. Focus on legs, statement heels, big and boxy shirt and girly skirt. This will be printed and placed on the wardrobe for inspiration.

Hey, the French editor look! Emmanuelle Alt, for example, can be sketched out in simple jeans + simple t-shirt + a modest heel. Anyway, all those French fashion magazine girls can't be beaten in a look like this. Note for when you try this yourself, it only works if the individual pieces are of top quality. So please pants from Isabel Marant and shirt from Alexander Wang.

A case of you just have to dare and have the legs for it. But if that's the case, then you can look like this and how cool is that!

Finally, this skirt. Must want will have this. Anyone have any idea where it's from? God, it's beautiful. The soft colors are definitely to die for, but that skirt, that skirt!!
