Of course, I had to choose a festive Tried & Tested. Hence a mascara. Not just any mascara, no, one in a golden tube that provides the most dramatic and voluminous effect. Because we want va-va-voom lashes that make an impression with every blink.

What does it promise?

The mascara is said to have a very special brush. A double brush that allows you to coat the maximum lashes with a layer of mascara without them sticking together. It also has a tip that can make the result even more intense. The result? Intense black lashes thanks to the good pigment.

The test

Josselin: “I absolutely love full, grand lashes. So I warmly welcome Helena Rubinstein. I expect a lot from it, as she was the first to launch a waterproof mascara in 1939. Fortunately, it works. The brush is indeed special, as it seems to consist of two parts. One to grab the volume and one to perfectly separate the lashes. So no clumps and that kind of hassle. I do think you need multiple layers to really achieve those va-va-voom lashes. Admittedly, the lashes already look significantly larger after one layer, but after a few layers, you have the master effect. So a great mascara, and the golden tube is incredibly beautiful, it does its job and a festive look is guaranteed.”
