Aging has its nice sides (right?), but one downside is that things start to sag and wrinkles become all too visible. Now, botox is still a far-from-my-bed-show, so I'm trying to counter it with other products.

What does it promise?

The eyes and mouth are things you move very often, so that's where lines are visible the quickest. You can fill them with botox, but you can also use Helena Rubinstein's Re-Plasty line for that. It's a cosmetic alternative to the techniques of aesthetic medicine. Sounds exciting, right? But what it promises: to make eye contours smoother and brighter through blur techniques. I immediately started applying it.

The test

“I think this pen looks just as exciting as if I were sitting in the chair for a filler treatment. Fortunately, no needle, but a soft cold ball with which you apply the cream just like a concealer. Small dots. Not much comes out, but that's not necessary. Good thing, because the product is quite on the pricey side. To say that I no longer have any lines around my eyes? Mwah, that's not the case. To say that they are concealed, that is true. It has a sort of primer effect. It fills in, it softens, and conceals everything. Using makeup afterward works just fine. So the product works well, but if you want to go for the long term, you really need to choose other solutions. The nice thing is that this product makes your eyes shine even more and makes your mouth look bigger. So could this be Yolanthe's secret?
