Viktor & Rolf donated to Boijmans museum

Ten creations by Viktor & Rolf have come into the possession of the Boijmans van Beuningen museum. Writer and patron of the arts Han Nefkens purchased jackets, capes, and dresses from the A/W 2013 collection of the Dutch fashion duo to subsequently donate them to the Rotterdam museum. Then you can rightly call yourself a patron of the arts .

The couture pieces, characterized by asymmetrical shapes and often black in color, were presented last summer in Paris. The show was preceded by a minute-long meditation in a zen garden. Starting this fall, the brand new museum pieces will be on display in the exhibition The Future of Fashion is Now. This will showcase works from over 50 international fashion designers. De Toekomst van Mode is Nu is on view from October 11 to January 18 at the Boijmans van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam.
