When Ellis Faas meets net-a-porter.com

Ellis Faas is the Patt McGrath of the Netherlands. Or rather, from the Netherlands, because her success has already far exceeded national borders. Vogue Paris once called her “one of the most successful makeup artists of her generation,” she worked on shoots with Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Karl Lagerfeld, and Terry Richardson, and was the head makeup artist at the shows of Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries van Noten, Kenzo, and many many more. In 2009, her own makeup line was launched, which is sold among others at Skins in Amsterdam.

And now there is another point added to her CV, as she has designed an exclusive lip set for net-a-porter. The products were conceived and created with a sultry summer day in mind as inspiration and consist of three different colors and materials. There is the Milky Lips L207, a ‘nude pink’ with a lot of pigments with a very lightweight look and feel. In addition, there is the Glazed Lips L304 (a subtly translucent orange with a nice shine) and the Hot Lips L401 (a striking red).
