What to wear to the HNTM-finale

Tonight it’s happening, the new Dutch top model will be chosen. I find it quite exciting. I have something with all of them although there are two particularly favorites among these four. We will see how they perform tonight because that counts enormously.

The past four days I couldn’t be in model mode anymore because a beautiful Gucci dress is waiting for me but it’s from the runway collection so it’s extremely small. I haven’t eaten much more than apples, mandarins, and occasionally a stray dim sum. I know, a very bad example but hey, everything for the dress.

To compensate, I did drink wine or does that just make it worse?

Because the doubt remains (tv makes you look so thick and I’m sitting on a white chair and then it’s so white on white, and, and) I did put a few backup outfits in the back of the car. A black Patrizia Pepe for example, simple but I spice it up with vavavoom Prada heels.

And I also have a soft pink Armani. And if I go overboard in that dressing room of Studio 21, I just think of what Diane Vreeland said; ”It’s not about the dress, it’s about the life you live in it.” That’s immediately a wise lesson for that new Dutch top model.
