SUMMER IN THE CITY

We Dutch are always really good at complaining about the cold, bad, rainy weather, only to then hysterically run to the beach at the first rays of sunshine and then sigh that it is now really too hot. At the time of writing, I am in a sweltering editorial office with a kind of gigantic air conditioning machine that produces so much noise that we can no longer talk to each other, but what must be done, must be done.
