THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DRESSES FROM THE MET GALA 2014

Since we would love to post 800 photos from last night's Met Ball, we will keep the text short. Above we have created a flipbook (is that what it's called?) filled with endless beautiful images, and below a short guide for what you're looking at.

You start with Diane Kruger and husband Joshua Jackson, both in BOSS. Stunningly beautiful. Then we see model Arizona Muse in a dress so large that she must have barely fit through the door. Such a dress can only be worn to an event like this, and that’s exactly why the Met Ball is so amazing. After that, we see Charlize Theron and Sean Penn, a – I think – rather curious couple. This photo was taken by Mario Testino, and the secrecy of it is just delightful.

The ladies in the next photo barely fit at the table, those dresses! Am I repeating myself? The Met Ball is amazing. Jay-Z and Beyoncé also think so, looking more in love than ever tonight. Just like Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, who were photographed more kissing than not.

PR stunt? Got something to hide? Or true love? Whoever knows may speak. By the way, if anyone knows why the divine Tom Brady has styled his hair in such a ridiculous quiff, they can say that too.

Then the Beckhams, in angelic white. We skip a bit because otherwise, I’ll be talking too long again. Because I don’t quite understand why Rosie is wearing what she is wearing. A short dress from Balmain, quite funny, but definitely not for this occasion. She gets demerits. Who gets merits is Blake Lively in Gucci. So so SO beautiful. I can’t stop looking at it. And then we have the Topshop ladies, including Kendall Jenner. Can you imagine that all those beautiful dresses are from Topshop? It is indeed so.

And then we come to the case of Lupita. Lupita, who is praised across the board for her style, the dream of every stylist, the woman who has never done wrong on the red carpet – and then this happened. The dress-like thing is from Prada, but even that can’t save the situation. Maybe my fashion brain is just too narrow for this, but I find it unappealing. And then that headband, what the heck is up with that headband?!

Then just a bit about the last photo of the zipper, that might be my favorite photo. Just when you’ve struggled through all that splendor, it turns out that even the richest and most beautiful people on earth really do have to go to the bathroom sometimes. They really have stayed so down to earth, haven’t they!
