10 signs you’re not a morning person
That got-out-of-bed-on-the-wrong-side feeling creeps up on me sometimes. But usually it has to do with the prospect of a very busy day of which I don’t know how I’m going to get everything done. And there’s not anything wearable in my closet AND I have to get a move on. All perfectly good reasons to be a bit grumpy, but I can generally handle early mornings pretty well. Provided I went to bed fairly early the night before. Although I mustn’t grumble, for I believe May-Britt gets up at 06:30 every morning WITH three children to deal with. Now that’s a completely different story. And you? A morning person or not? If you recognize yourself here, you’re probably unbearable in the morning.
– Deliberately set the alarm earlier so you can snooze.
– If you press the snooze button and immediately fall asleep again.
– Get really grouchy when someone wakes you with a text.
– If you find it hard to get out of bed and then sleep just a bit longer on the toilet.
“Sleeping longer is MUCH more important than spending more time in the shower or in front of your closet”
– You are always rushing before you leave for work.
– If you never have time for breakfast.
– You MUST begin the day with coffee, otherwise you aren’t really awake.
– If you finally get a bit productive after midday.
– If no one should actually ask you anything in the morning because you are so not feeling like it.
