3X new spots in Amsterdam
All under one roof.
When a new restaurant opens in the city, I want to eat there preferably in the first week. I'm as happy as a child because our editorial neighborhood has recently been wonderfully upgraded with hospitality, which means we only have to ride our bikes for three minutes on Fridays to sit down at a table. BAUTZUID, Citroen Amsterdam, and The Oyster Club are on!
BAUTZUID
BAUT already existed, but it was in a different location at that time. The pop-up restaurant has now moved to Stadionplein. Good news for Amayzine (just around the corner). The fries served in mini fry baskets and the super trendy staff dressed in Denham have always stuck with me since the last time I ate there. The menu is divided by countries. You pick something from each cuisine, and everything is made to share, and I happen to be a huge fan of sharing dinner.
Citroen Amsterdam
Just for the interior, you want to go there. Everything is baby pink. The tables, the chairs, and the lamps. There is, however, a turquoise bar. In the middle of the place, there is also a greenhouse where vegetables used in the kitchen are grown.
This is a pop-up restaurant, which means it will disappear again after a while, so hurry up; make a reservation. By the way, don't be surprised if you can only get a table after three weeks. Oh, and they also have a rooftop terrace. I say; see you there?!
The Oyster Club
Now I always order oysters when they are on the menu, and I find seafood incredibly festive. The sashimi on the menu melts in your mouth, and there are all cozy little booths where you can sit. You can also choose to sit on a nice couch. The tables are round; much cozier that way. If you get completely dizzy from the delicious things on the menu, you can also just walk over to the bar where a lot of goodies are displayed. Just point, and it will be on your plate shortly after. In nice weather, there is a terrace, and in the evening, The Oyster Club almost looks like a nightclub with a cocktail bar, a glowing staircase, LED lights everywhere, and great pumping music from the speakers.
