6 NICE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE KADJAR
A new car is like a fresh love. You found it handsome, it beckoned to you, and now you spend quite a bit of time together. Cozy, but there are all sorts of things you still don't know how to operate. With a man, you don't get a manual at all (we should actually do that as women among ourselves. Just after the affair, jot down the pros and cons on paper and email it to the next woman) and with a car, you generally don't read it. At least, I don't.
So it remains about discovering along the way. That's how it went for me and the Kadjar too.
So there was:
1. The beep
Every now and then, the Kadjar would emit a friendly yet clear beep. Was I driving too fast? Was my seatbelt loose? No, I had crossed a line without signaling, causing the car to think I might have fallen asleep or was just a bit drowsy. A wake-up call, for which I am grateful every time, because you'll see how often you accidentally cross the line.
2. The leaf
On my dashboard, a small twig kept growing. First a leaf, then another one until a twig formed. I found it very cheerful but didn't quite know what it meant. I've figured it out. Every time I shift gears (and thus drive economically and eco-friendly), a leaf grows.
3. The welcome greeting
Every time I get in the car, it softly greets me with a sunny tune. Kind of a good morning kiss, I would say, very cozy.
4. In sixth gear
Because it's generally a good idea in life to keep your foot on the gas pedal and be in the highest gear, the Kadjar fits me perfectly. It has six gears. And that's a. cool, b. environmentally friendly, and c. economical, and look: that's where that pair of new Gucci shoes comes into play.
5. The Hans Kazan trunk
This car has a double layer in the trunk. Ideal if you want to separate the heavier from the lighter. Why doesn't a trunk have more compartments or a more organized layout than a large, gaping space? This double layer is also ideal if you want to hide some recent and excessive shopping behavior from your loved one. I know, from a feminist perspective it's ridiculous, but it's just a situation that occurs in my life with some regularity...
6. Then there was light
The roof of this car is completely made of glass from front to back, so an autumn depression can't get a grip on you. Laurens van den Acker created the light and saw that it was good. Something like that. And if you want to sulk in a dark mood behind the wheel, you can cover the glass with the push of a button. So...
