7 things you didn't know about Yolanthe

1. The ex of Baas B.
Her relationship with Jan Smit is still fresh in everyone's mind, but did you know that Yolanthe back in the day also had a relationship with Bart Zeilstra, better known as Baas B.? Between 2005 – 2007, Yo was in a serious relationship with the rapper from Diemen-Zuid.
2. Wesley converted
It was Yolanthe who introduced Wesley to Catholicism, to which the footballer also converted at the beginning of their relationship. He was baptized in Milan. “Every morning I pray a part of the rosary together with Yolanthe.”
3. Volendam tour guide
Ricarda, Yolanthe's mother, lived for years in Volendam in a house that her daughter bought for her. During her time in Volendam, Kasbergen's mother worked as a guide and gave tours through the famous eel village.
4. Tattoos
Yolanthe has at least 3 tattoos on her body. She got the first one as a birthday gift for her great love and it reads: ‘I thank God for Wesley’. She also got a tattoo together with her husband. The couple chose a well-known Bible verse: ‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil’. With her sisters, she had a heart engraved on her wrist.
5. Fluent in Turkish
Since 2013, Wesley and Yolanthe have been living in Istanbul, and Yolanthe now speaks fluent Turkish. “If I am in Istanbul for several days in a row, I schedule classes. Then I have about two hours of lessons.” In total, Yo speaks 5 languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish.
6. Loves cooking
“One of the prejudices people have about us is that we must have our own chef or always eat out, but I cook – with a few exceptions – always myself,” Yolanthe shared earlier in her -column. “I often cook Dutch dishes because Wesley loves that Grazia7. Perfume Yolanthe's favorite perfume is Davidoff Cool Water. The jewelry designer has been wearing the scent since she was 12 years old. “It really belongs to me now. If I wear something different, my mother and Wes say it doesn't fit. If you can't smell your own perfume, then it suits you.”.”
