Backstage visit

– Tibi at New York Fashion Week –

My first time at New York Fashion Week and on day one I was already allowed backstage at the Tibi show. I found it quite exciting, but luckily May came along, who is of course already a beacon of knowledge and experience in the field of backstage visits at fashion shows. Now I had prepared myself for stress, chaos, crying models, hair-pulling makeup artists, and PR ladies with Devil-wears-Prada scenes. That was not the case. Not at all. Look, it wasn't calm, but the chaos and stress were also quite manageable and everyone was even pretty nice and fun to each other. So yes, I dared to grab the microphone and together with May ask the models about beauty secrets, unravel the look of Bobbi Brown with Cassandra Garcia, and see what hair the models were sent down the runway with. Oh, and don't forget my meeting with Olivia Palermo, because god, I finally had my nerves under control and found my groove backstage, but I still got weak knees from her.
