Jacqueline Giannakos is one of the most beautiful PR ladies I know. She truly has an incredibly beautiful natural appearance and her looks are very enviable. Oh, and she is also very sweet and fun, and I haven't been able to discover anything annoying about her. With a job as PR Coordinator for Parfums Christian Dior, Dior Couture and Acqua di Parma, you can guess what her bathroom is filled with. But her favorite? She's going to share that with you now.
Morning ritual
“Once I have decided not to snooze my first morning happiness moment begins: coffee! I enjoy that so much! While I'm in the shower, I think about the mood of my outfit for that day. I'm still waiting for the day when I already know the night before what I'm going to wear the next day. After showering, the applying begins. Yes, applying, applying, applying! I really love doing that. From head to toe and preferably all over again. I can't live without the Detox Serum Dior One Essential, my partner in crime against pollution. When I start on my hair, my first online shopping moment of the day often begins. My curling iron in one hand and my iPhone in the other.”
5 minutes make-up
“I love a no make-up make-up look; both an even and natural appearance. My make-up never really takes longer than 5 minutes. I create this with products from the Dior Backstage Pros that naturally even out your complexion in combination with the Serum Foundation from Diorskin Nude Air. If I want to quickly transform my make-up into an evening look for a party, I use the Diorshow Extase Mascara for even more intensity of my lashes and the bright red color of Rouge Dior 844 Trafalgar on my lips.”
Eyebrows or lashes
“For me, both the eyebrows and the lashes really make the face. It's an art to find balance in applying both. The right shape and color are essential for the eyebrows. For my eyebrows, I use Dior Sourcils Poudre 453 Sable. To care for my lashes, I apply the Diorshow Maximizer under my mascara, this is a serum mascara.”
Favorite perfume
“During the day at the office, I really feel like a Miss Dior with Miss Dior Eau de Parfum. The scent is warm, sensual, and powerful, and the thought with which Christian Dior created this fragrance in 1947 is something I can completely relate to: ‘a perfume is the finishing touch of a dress!’ For special occasions, I use Ambre Nuit, one of the fragrance creations from La Collection Privée by Dior. These scents are exclusively available in the Dior boutique.”
Hair
Because every day a hot tool or hairdryer goes through my hair, I have noticed over the years that care such as oil is extremely important. Before styling or curling my hair, I apply a bit of Biosilk Therapy oil to the ends of my hair. As extra protection against heat, I spray Chi Iron Guard Style & Stay in my hair. As a ‘finishing touch’, I spray not a fragrance but a scented hair mist from Dior in my hair. Due to a lower alcohol percentage than a regular fragrance, it doesn't dry out the hair when perfuming it.”
Nail polish
“One of the most important aspects of care for me is well-groomed nails for both men and women. It's an obsession! Nothing is worse than unkempt nails. You will never see me without nail polish, preferably bright red. My favorite is Dior Vernis 754 Pandore. As extra care – yes, care is central to me ;) – I use Crème Abricot, a nail cream that keeps your nails and cuticles soft and hydrated.”
New Year's resolutions in beauty
“More sleep! For me, the day never has enough hours. I always try to get the most out of my day, which often leads me to catch myself with too few hours of sleep. So from now on, I will go home earlier after a dinner with friends, a Homeland episode less, and oh yes, also not take the iPad to bed for a final online shopping round…”
Never leave home without…
“My Dior Hydra Life Masque! It is for me both at night and during the day a perfect product for an ultimate touch-up for my face. With my work, I often have events and travels, where I go to bed late and have to get up early again. For these busy times, I use this mask as a night cream. I let it absorb all night, and the next day my skin looks radiant again. The mask is also good to use during the day when my face needs a boost. I then mix the mask with my foundation and apply it as one layer. And when I travel, I always take my Amber Roomspray from Acqua di Parma with me so that I can create a feeling of home in every hotel room.”

“It's not a world secret but MY Million Dollar Tip: always – even if you come home late after a few too many glasses of wine ;) – cleanse your skin well in the evening. My Mousse Pureté Nettoyante is the perfect mousse to easily remove your make-up well. I mix the mousse with plenty of water and then gently massage it into my face. Wonderful!’
