With all the hard work, of course, comes the need to celebrate a vacation, but such a little week flies by very quickly. Right back to work with, fortunately, only fun tasks. Are you reading along?

Our week in Italy is already over... For seven days, we indulged in all the Italian specialties like melon with Parma ham, fresh pasta, and... burrata. What we call burrata in the Netherlands has nothing to do with this variant: it truly melts in your mouth and the flavor is so rich that you only need a few drops of olive oil. You can imagine that this dish was on our menu every day. Unfortunately, I now have to double my visits to the gym: but it was worth it.

This week, Grazia was in stores featuring the first photoshoot of Jon and me together. I am so happy with the end result: Jon looks stunning in his Avelon suit and my white Avelon outfit almost resembles a wedding outfit. People asked on Facebook if it was our engagement photo! Now we have checked out a few fantastic locations in Italy, so who knows, that photo might come in handy soon...

I had barely landed for 8 hours when I had to get back to work for the new film ‘Sneekweek’. We rehearsed in a summer house in Amstelveen: not a bad work location! At the end of the day, we all jumped into the pool to cool off, wonderful! This is how I want to work every day, even on weekends!

A friend excitedly told me that she had booked a peeling that would make her skin look instantly more even, tighter, and younger. Once home, she texted a photo: ‘I need to hide...’. A lobster was nothing compared to her, and she had started to peel, as if she had spent a week on the beach without sunscreen. So when I was invited by Maaike from furrow.nl for a bio-peeling at Neoderma, I was a bit hesitant. Fortunately, this turned out to be a completely safe bio-peeling based on herbs. During the treatment, I only felt a slight tingling, and my skin felt much tighter and more even right away. I should quickly tip that friend...

I discovered these cheerful sneakers from Est1842 during The Gift Suite. When I tried them on, I was immediately sold! They fit like slippers, so these will definitely be my set shoes during the recordings in Sneek. It was just difficult to choose a print and a color, but in the end, I went for this cheerful glitter.
