Meet the crazy cast of Sneekweek… We have so much fun with this group, you would almost forget that we are shooting a thriller! Last week we got to let loose at the fair in Sneek during the real Sneekweek. Bumper cars, cotton candy, fishing for ducks, shooting: bizarre to call that ‘work’! The last shot was only in such a terrifying upside-down thing where you spin circles in the air: at that moment I wished for a ‘normal’ office job...

Now that I have to travel back and forth to Sneek, I leave the house every day loaded with stuff. I was already a fan of the backpack hype, but when I saw this specimen from Croque, I became completely ecstatic! The bag is made of cork, so it's super light and very handy to take from set to set. During sailing, I leave it on shore, or would it float in the water?

Every year I look forward to this moment: the Parade is back in Amsterdam! Read: two weeks of drinking wine, tasting all the food stalls, and discovering amazing performances.

If you've never been: GO! The performance ‘Live Jukebox’ is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and has been one of the biggest success performances of the Parade all these years.

The food is a bit disappointing this year, but luckily the homemade poffertjes are a huge hit as always! My record is three portions in one evening… Try me people, try me.

After all those poffertjes, I had to train twice as hard the next day. I never expected to say this, but I'm starting to really enjoy exercising. No panic, I won't become a bodybuilder and train every day. But if I haven't been for a week, I really crave those squats and sit-ups again. Something about producing substances that make you happy, the same substance found in chocolate. If you could get abs from eating 10 bars...

Between the shoots of Sneekweek, I also play a guest role in the series ‘Danni Lowinski’. Actress Marlijn Weerdenburg has been playing the role of Danni for four seasons now and she does it fantastically! I play a model who sees her first cover being pierced through her nose. That's why she asks Danni for help, but it's not so easy to help this girl! To be continued...
