Nothing makes me happier than being able to relax in a wonderful spa after a long period of filming. I have visited quite a few locations by now, but SpaSereen was still high on my list. The spaces are nice and clear, which I find very pleasant compared to a colossal Thermae2000. The ambiance is, as the name suggests, very serene. During the facial treatment, I was already in dreamland after 5 minutes, and the rest of the day I floated from steam room to sauna. Once home, I could roll sleepily into my bed! Note to self: make sure to schedule a day like this every month, please.

Over the years, I have amassed quite a clothing collection, but I still manage to spot absolute must-haves every season. Especially during the lookbook shoots of Stijl Maastricht, I turn into a greedy little girl who simply must have that one dress. This season, the collections from Dante6, Minimum, and Modström were my absolute favorites. I took this Dante6 pants straight from the shoot to my somewhat overflowing walk-in closet. It's time for a clothing sale again soon…

Last weekend, Marly and I donned the most beautiful Avelon outfits for the JFK Gala at The Harbour Club. Together with these lovely ladies (and Jon as the only man: the lucky bastard), we sat at the table enjoying all the sushi and delicious snacks that passed by. Greatest Man of the Year Armin van Buuren gave a touching speech in which he put his wife in the spotlight. Unfortunately, I was the one who had to switch to water after two glasses of Moët. Next time, I should just take an Uber…

Welcome to my new living room! The name says it all, but you immediately feel ‘Happyhappyjoyjoy’ when you walk in here. Normally, I always go to the Zeedijk for my dim sum cravings, but this place is much closer and is divine! My favorite dish: the ‘open’ Chao Si Bao. What does that mean? Well, you’ll have to discover that for yourself! You can just walk in for lunch, but dinner has been fully booked for three weeks now… So maybe an early dinner next week?!

Greetings from Sweden! Because as we speak, I am writing my post with a view of the beautiful landscape in Linköping, of all places. But believe me, if you stay here for a few days, you forget everything and everyone and feel like you are in the unlimited fresh air and postcard-worthy views. Hopefully, we can shoot enough images for JFK Magazine to show everything, but that will be tricky. We are not even halfway through and already have enough images for a whole spread…
