Carolien immersed herself in the most beautiful spa in the Netherlands and is preparing for a trip to Copenhagen, because after Amsterdam Fashion Week she can now indulge in Copenhagen Fashion Week. Read along.

For years I have been a fan of Levi's 501 jeans. On Monday, the brand launched a special edition of this classic: the 501 CT. In the hotspot of Amsterdam, Le Coq, this launch was celebrated festively: a great start to the week!

You can make me extremely happy with a wonderful massage (hint hint…). I got to enjoy a day in the Akasha Spa of the Conservatorium Hotel with my girlfriend Karlijn. I immediately felt like I was in an oasis of peace and luxury! The massage was divine and afterwards we could relax by the pool with a cup of green tea and dried fruit. I could use such an escape every month...

Last week Amsterdam was in turmoil, because all fashionable Netherlands visited our capital for THE fashion-event event of the year: Amsterdam Fashion Week. What beautiful collections are being made in our small country! On my wish list: a pair of cool boots from Shabbies, the burgundy outfit from Avelon and a stunning dress from Dorhout Mees.

I could hardly sleep last night from the excitement: I get to go to Copenhagen Fashionweek! And they just happen to show the brands I adore there… Together with Style-owner and good friend Chantal, we will walk our legs off and swoon at the sight of all the new collections. First, a pitstop in Maastricht: first atStijl Wyck (read: my monthly salary with something. And if you absolutely must wear those pumps, make sure they are a pair with an ankle strap, so your leg is broken up again. Also very nice: a nice sneaker. The movie Homies is doing great and the reactions to the film are overwhelming! In the story, the main character develops an app that allows you to play the first selfie-game ever. The creators thought it would be so cool to actually play that game, that they developed this app: APPPIC (yes, with 3 p's). I am now playing 8 games at once and smile am busy with all the tasks. I was on the train and had to take a selfie with a soldier. Lipstick on my cheeks, a salute and voilà: this selfie could be ‘played’.
