The week was all about Dutch film for our Carolien. That meant that the gala dresses could come out of the closet again. Are you reading along?

This week was all about Dutch film. During the Film Festival in Utrecht, we could enjoy all the beauty that was filmed last year. As a conclusion, the Golden Calves were awarded on Friday for the most exceptional performances. I was picked up directly from the set and had exactly 10 minutes to transform from Kat in Zwarte Tulp to gala outfit... Luckily, the lovely ladies from makeup lent a hand, so I was transformed from a teased hairstyle to a classy Kelly role in no time. Jon and I jumped for joy when Hadewych received the award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’. And of course, this had to be celebrated with champagne... a whole lot of champagne.

We've already been living in our new little palace for almost a year. My heart still skips a beat with joy when I open the front door: it has become such a nice and warm place! The intention was to discover a new spot in our own neighborhood every week. Of course, like with any good intention, this has only half succeeded. Last week, we finally visited (practically our neighbors) restaurant Meat West. We went crazy just looking at the extensive wine list. So we opted for the extensive menu to taste as many wines as possible. For the carnivores among us, this is really a must-eat: delicious bavette tartare as a starter and the classic surf & turf as the main course. And after the Salty Caramel dessert... Well, my face says enough, I think.

As I already said: this week was all about Dutch film. Last Monday, the premiere of ‘Popoz’ took place, based on the series of the same name. You have to love it, but I laughed my head off at the bizarre and hilarious moments the main characters experience. The highlight: Pierre Bokma with an iron claw in a prison fight, fantastic! Afterwards, we got to step into the shoes of the Popoz and we didn't need to be asked twice! Together with the boys from B-Brave and half-broken toy guns, we put on our toughest look and this is the result.

I could hardly wait to pull out my pink tracksuit and giant gold earrings again: Kat Vonk is back! Now that season 1 of Zwarte Tulp is being aired on RTL4, I occasionally watch along and laugh my head off at the situations my ‘man’ and I find ourselves in. Together with Roeland Fernhout, I get to experience the most hilarious moments in season 2 again. I won't reveal too much, but I can tell you: very exciting things are going to happen!

Because my week wasn't full enough yet, my husband asked if I wanted to shoot a music video for the new single of Jeroen van der Boom together with Lange Frans. Of course, I couldn't refuse that! So since early this morning, I've been dressed up as a bellboy, receptionist, bartender, and guest of this cute boutique hotel at the INK Hotel. Now, I'm quite a hero with kitchen knives, so when I got a giant knife in my hands for cutting the carrots, Jon urgently asked if I wanted to keep my fingers during the shoot... Luckily, I felt very safe with Lange Frans as the chef de cuisine!
