We're going to take a nice peek into Carolien's life and her envy-inducing house.

Our little house has actually been finished for half a year, except for one room... To my great annoyance. This space has so far been ‘misused’ as a laundry room, junk corner, or temporary storage, while we really wanted to turn it into a guest room. But after a months-long search, I finally found a sofa bed that fits perfectly in the room! It's from made.com where I went crazy over all the knick-knacks. I know, Jon, the house is already full enough with trinkets: I'm holding back...

We officially have the coziest bed in the world! The only downside: try finding fitted sheets in 210 by 210. But at COCO-MAT, I was relieved of my suffering. Once home, I ended up with a bit more than just a purple fitted sheet:

the baby lotion had to come along for our godchild and a bottle of olive oil from Greece, just for that beautiful bottle...

The recordings for the Telefilm ‘Kamp Holland’ are in full swing! The art department has really created an incredibly beautiful set: the real soldiers present felt ‘at home’ again for a moment.

For a few more weeks, I get to wear my super comfy military outfit: maybe a nice Look of the Day soon?

Last weekend, Jon and I were able to attend a beautiful wedding in the middle of the woods. And to enjoy the forest for one more day, we stayed overnight at castle Kerckebosch: a picturesque little castle, but fully modern on the inside. I'm in love with the mint green theme that appeared in every room: could this hotel also be rented for, say, our wedding? ;-)

In the summer, I always find it difficult to find nice, airy cardigans. Either they are too warm, or the fabric is so thin that you might as well throw a scarf over your shoulders. This cropped cape from Ghimells is a perfect combination of a scarf and a warm cardigan. I think it will also look nice over an evening dress: a kind of stole, but in a modern ‘jacket‘.
